Since this is a new blog, everything is new so check out my new daily post, #WikiLeaks. One day the rulers of the world convened and resolved that all the worlds knowledge will be stored in one place, the next day, the site Wikipedia was born. I frequent Wikipedia and I often come across very interesting articles, #WikiLeaks is where I will share them. There is never a bad time to expand your mind with a little random knowledge. If you have alittle free time please read up on….

Edgar Cayce
I personally do not think that psychics are awesome. I do not believe that anybody can truly read minds and I refuse to believe that people can predict the future. Most psychics who claimed that they can predict the future were just wealthy, popular socialites who gave vague statements that people would later try to make sense of. In that respect, their predictions were more like post-dictions because nobody understood what they meant until after the “prediction” occurred and even then the predictions were still up to interpretation.
Even though I do not think that psychics are awesome, I do believe that Edgar Cayce is awesome. Edgar Cayce is an American psychic who gave very specific predictions that were often filled with tons of explanation. Despite the fact that he may have the best record of predicting the future on the planet and much of his work is well preserved, he is not as well known as other psychics.

Yesterday music fans had to say an early goodbye to a talented young woman by the name of Amy Winehouse. Winehouse had soul, her music was beautiful and music critics and fans alike adored her unique sound. I am saddened by Winehouse’s recent passing and my thoughts go out to her family and friends, however, I am not crushed. Which lead me to wonder…
Celeb deaths, like all deaths, are awful. No one likes to say their last goodbye to anyone who has played a significant role in their life, and nowadays few people are likely to play a larger role in our lives than our favorite musicians. With that said, I pose the question, What Musician deaths would hit you the hardest and why?
When I think of musician deaths, few bother me more than the death of Eric “Eazy-E” Wright. If you don’t know who Eazy-E is, learn now then pretend you always did. Eazy-E was the leader of the legendary Hip-Hop Super Group N.W.A. and the godfather of Gangster Rap. He was a great rapper and a visionary businessman who died at the age of 31 due to complications from AIDS roughly one month after he was originally diagnosed with the fatal disease in 1995. Prior to his death released a written statement through his lawyer outside the hospital where he would eventually die in front of dedicated fans. His funeral shut down Los Angeles. His death was tragic, but epic because he was loved.
Unfortunately history has not treated the legacy of Eazy-E with the respect he deserved. His legacy “Melted away like a candle,” as The Game so poetically put it, and he is wrongfully absent in conversations that include the likes of The Notorious B.I.G., Big Pun, and Tupac. I can only hope the weight of his death has not been lost to his fans and contemporaries.
I say that to say that the deaths of musicians affect people differently. Now I will answer the question, What Musician deaths would hit me the hardest and why?
Three names instantly come to mind.
Lil’ Wayne
Mary J. Blige
and lastly,
Kanye West
These are the artists I grew up with. I have all of their albums and saw most of their music videos. Not only did I see them do well, but I saw them all fail and decend into controversy. Albums like Graduation and Tha Carter 3 are memories from my college years and the music of these artists is invaluable to me.
Moreover, I would feel worse if new artists such as Drake or Wale were to meet unfortunate early ends to their careers than if veterans such as Jay-Z or Snoop Dogg. Although artists like Jay-Z have earned their place in history, the worst loses are when musicians die before they can leave their mark on the world.
So once again I ask the question:
What musician deaths would hit you the hardest and why?
Here are a few of my favorite album covers. Keep in mind that these covers are a reflection of both the era in which I grew up as well as my personal music preferences.

And Lastly my FAVORITE

You gotta admit, if you blindly walked into my apartment and saw these albums sprawled across my coffee table, you’d probably think I was pretty hip.
What is your favorite Cover Art of all time?
Post your answer as a Photo Reply.
I will post a few of my favorites later.
Wanna know what I think is awesome. COVER ART!!!!
I know its weird but I am in love with Cover Art, Posters, Concept Art and all of that stuff. The right cover art for a game or CD will make you that much more interested in something that you are anticipating and turn a possession into decoration. The only thing cooler than a great item is a pretty package. Today 2K Sports released the cover art for NBA 2K12 and I LOVE IT!!!!
